ROTAX LIFE - EVOLUTION DOUBLE TROPHY 2024

TWO races on TWO layouts of the track - it is all about meeting of karting lovers with racing sessions.

CATEGORIES:

Micro Open (7 - 11 years) - kart specifications Rotax Micro Max, Baby 60, Min. weight 105 Kg.

Mini Open (9 - 13 years) - kart specifications Rotax Mini Max, Easy 60, Mini 60, Vortex Mini Year. Min. weight 110 Kg.

Junior Open (12 - 15 years) - kart specifications Rotax Junior Max, Rok Junior. Min. weight 145 Kg.

Senior Open (from 14 / 11 years) - karts specification Rotax Senior Max, Vortex Rok / OK, OK Junior. Min. weight 160 / 140 Kg.

Shifter Open (from 15 years) - karts specification Rotax DD2, KZ. Min. weight 165 Kg.

Rental Honda (from 14 years) - karts rented from Steel Ring (max. number of participants is 13).

Only one and a half sets of tyres (3 front and 3 rear tyres) are allowed for both days for the Points Races and the Super Final. There is no limit on the number of wet tyres.

All current karts and karts and motors to older specifications (ignition, pneumatic trailer etc) are welcome.

RACE SYSTEM:

Free practice sessions according to the calendar.

On SATURDAY and SUNDAY 2.-3.11.2024:

• 2 free practices
• First qualifying heat - starting position according to the lottery draw.
• Second qualifying heat - starting position opposite to the first lottery draw.
• Super Final - starting position according to the sum of points from the first and second heats (in case of equal points, the better time per lap in the second heat is decisive).

The winner is everyone who has fun 😊

The overall results of the Rotax Life - Evolution Double Trophy 2024 will be determined by the sum of the points from the Saturday and Sunday superfinal heats 😊. In the RENTAL category the results will be determined by the superfinal heat.

Not only those who crossed the finish line in the super final in the first positions will be awarded, but also those who managed to set steady lap times and more... (surely ladies, handy kids, Gentleman Drivers etc. will also be racing 😊).

DRIVER EQUIPMENT:

Overalls with expired homologation, ankle boots, gloves and karting helmet (including expired homologations) are allowed. We recommend the use of rib protector.

For the Honda category we recommend sportswear with long sleeves. A helmet will be available for rent. Closed shoes are required (ankle boots and gloves are recommended).

ENTRY FEE:

Payment will be made on the spot from Friday 1.11.2024 from 12:00.

Entry fee includes: ambulance with doctor, track marshalls, sports and technical commissioners, timekeeping, prizes for participants, etc.

*amounts in foreign currency are ONLY FOR ORIENTATION.

TIRES FOR THE RACE:

Even used tyres may be used for the race. If you want to use new tyres, they must be purchased from the Kart Shop Steel Ring!

New tires for the race can be reserved in advance by emailing shop@steelring.cz.
